Wade Henry Byerly, 73, of Dayton died at 4:10 a.m. Sunday at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
Mr. Byerly was born Oct. 15, 1893 in Jefferson County a son of the late Samuel and Elizabeth (Hetrick) Byerly. He was married Oct. 20, 1925 to Marie Baughman. He was a member of Dayton District Volunteer Fire Department. He had lived for the past 37 years in Dayton and was a retired coal miner.
Surviving are his widow; four daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Velma) Anthony of Sligo, Mrs. Curtt (Dorothy) Hoover of Harbor Creek, Mrs. Louis (Betty) Brumbaugh and Miss Kay Byerly, both of Dayton; two sons, James H. of Erie and Clair D. of Dayton; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Mabel Raybuck of Sigel, Mrs. Alda Sowers of Warren, Mrs. John young of Dayton RD 1, Mrs. Russell Reitz of Sprangles Mills.
